They all use some kind of combination of forum -- -- script and AJAX Chat to create activity. Most of these people are joined by the website MalwareUp. The concept is a very simple one however people in -- -- said circle take it way too far, like some sort of weird cult. The Circle is diseased with drama, strife, and constant immature behavior. -- -- Of course there is a bright side to it all, you get to have a good time with your shitty internet friends! -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: How many sites exist in the circle? (remember to refer to the websites folder for full explanations!) -- -- A: There's a few main ones, and a limitless amount of subcommunity sites. The most influential sites in the circle were as follows. -- -- > MalwareUp.org aka the motherland -- -- > Zeniea.com aka the cesspool (this site!) -- -- > CyberneticForums.net aka the evil empire (but i own the domain now!) -- -- > Flashii.net aka the light at the end of the tunnel -- -- > Saibateku.net aka cybernetics reincarnated -- -- -- -- All of these sites usually branched out of the last because someone didn't agree with the way things were ran in the last one. Zeniea resented MalwareUp.-- -- Cybernetics resented Zeniea. Flashii and Saibateku resented Cybernetics. Outside of those 5 main sites there are a large amount of sites that branched -- -- out of them. Some of those subcommunities or personal sites were as follows. -- -- -- -- > Halext.org aka thexdarksiders blog (but now I own it!) -- -- > VortexLabs.co.cc aka colinmurfs old site -- -- > Dev-Tek.co.cc aka randomguys old site -- -- > Tirade.org aka an attempt to reincarnate MalwareUp (failed horribly) -- -- > Danooct1.com aka the reincarnation of tirade after it died of debian failure (failed uber horribly) -- -- > Unite.3ftp.org aka ieattacos personal chatroom -- -- > Nookls.org aka lord nookls palace -- -- > Dovernus.net aka bribob4's attempt to be relevant in the circle with a forum and chat -- -- > Bribob4.com aka who knows -- -- > Kamil.cf aka a skiddie circlejerk that refuses to leave the circle formula dead -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: Who is all in the circle? (refer to the users folder to get in depth descriptions of the most prominent members!) -- -- A: To be a part of the circle doesn't necessarily mean you have to be apart of all the sites. Joining just one can hook you in for life if you meet some -- -- of these criteria. -- -- > Rarely to never post in the forums if they exist -- -- > Idle in the AJAX Chat rather than actually using it or logging out -- -- > Joining huge group skype calls and struggle to talk over one another -- -- > Partake in useless steam groups and gaming servers -- -- > Attempt to make your own website -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: How did the Circle start? -- -- A: The idea of multiple sites and users following this broken formula could technically be traced back to Zeniea, since it was the first site to branch -- -- off from Malwareup and gain significant activity. However the modern interpretation with all the drama and such is 100% cybernetics fault. It spawned a -- -- whole new breed of users whereas Zeniea just had people from Malwareup come over and act like retards. -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: How did the Circle die? -- -- A: It's debatable whether the circle is really dead or not (though I don't know why you'd waste your time debating it lmao) in the sense of constant -- -- activity it is most certainly dead. In the sense of lingering users and websites it still technically stands and that is why this documentation exists. -- -- Think of it like a survival guide for the day when the circle may rise from the ashes again. -- -- -- -- Most users can agree that it was the downfall of Flashii and Saibateku that really killed the circle activity. After Zeniea struggled and failed to gain -- -- more activity those two sites were the only two really meeting circle criteria. Malwareup had long since become very distant from the situation. -- -- However it still counts as a circle site in the sense that the users that mostly reside there are only there because they were here 4 years ago. -- -- Malwareup purists like RandomGuy like to argue that Malwareup is not a circle site but it's just as retarded as any other autistic wasteland. -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: I'm a retard and don't know how forums and chats work! -- A: First off, congrats! You have not been suckered into the monstrosity that is internet dwelling. Forums are a type of website software where you can -- -- post content in topics about specific things, however circle dwellers rarely post in forums anyway so this is irrelevant. The forums in the circle only -- -- exist so that people can register to join the AJAX Chat. AJAX Chat is a chat client script that can be integrated with most of the mainstream forum -- -- software and is extremely popular among circle dwellers for some reason. They insist on modding it even though the code is ass and it takes up a lot of -- -- resources to run. IRC is infinitely superior as a chat client but the best idea would be to not join chatrooms. -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: I want to learn about/be apart of this circle! How do I do it? -- -- A: Well to learn about it just look all around the circle folder for the most accurate retellings I can give you. I wasn't always the mature or smart -- -- one in the circle but I definitely saw it for what it was when it was all said and done. http://archive.org/web/ is always your friend too. -- -- -- -- As it pertains to becoming apart of the circle, I wouldn't recommend this. You will either get ridiculed before you even make it in or you will get -- -- sucked into it and the drama will consume your life, especially if your the type of person who literally has nothing better to do. Hell, lurking /b/ is -- -- more productive than joining the circle because at least /b/ is consistent over the years. The circle has only been around since 2011 and it has changed -- -- so much it's hard to imagine how you get from point A to point B. -- -- -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- -- -- Q: Why does this matter? -- -- A: Refer to impact.txt -- -- -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
